FRIENDS OF CHATHAM PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Friends of the Chatham Public Library is a volunteer organization whose goal is to support the Chatham Library in a manner that is consistent with the Library’s own goals. The Friends have been granted not for profit 501C(3) status, making all donations tax-deductible.
Funds received by the Friends are used to sponsor a wide variety of programs and events, including the Authors and Artists Series of talks, the Museum Pass Program, the coffee cart, and the Summer Reading Program for children.
More than half the money raised by the Friends comes from individual donations, and is supplemented by grants. Persons can contribute any amount. The Friends have these categories: Student/Senior $15, Individual $25, Family $35, Patron $50, Best Friend $100, Fellow $250, Benefactor $500.
