Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Chatham Public Library  is a volunteer organization whose goal is to support the Chatham Library in a manner that is consistent with the Library’s own goals. The Friends have been granted not for profit 501C(3) status, making all donations tax-deductible.

Funds received by the Friends are used to sponsor a wide variety of programs and events, including the Authors and Artists Series of talks, the Museum Pass Program, Library of Things, and the Summer Reading Program for children.

The Friends of the Chatham Public Library launched an expanded Library of Things in June of 2022 with tools, games, and more available to borrow for free with your library card. Please fill out our brief survey share what “things” you would like to see in our collection!

Check out recordings of our Author & Artist Talks on the Library’s Youtube channel.
