Cooking the Books!

Cookbook Club
Thursday, October 15th
1:00 pm

So many cookbooks, food blogs, and recipe websites, how can you try them all? Join the Cookbook Club! Each month we’ll pick a different cookbook/website, take on a variety of recipes, and meet online in Zoom to discuss the results. October’s book is Rage Baking: The Transformative Power of Flour, Fury, and Women’s Voices by Kathy Gunst and Katherine Alford.

Timely, fun, and creative, this cookbook speaks to both skilled and beginner bakers who are looking for new ways to use their sweetest skills to combine food and activism. Containing a collection of recipes that are satisfying and delicious, Rage Baking unites like-minded women who are passionate about baking and change. Kathy Gunst and Katherine Alford will join us for a short book talk and Q & A around 1:15. Contact the library to sign up or sign up online.
