ALL AGES! Graphic Novel Workshop with Barbara Slate: April 23rd-26th, 1:00-3:00pm

Barbara Slate is back! Barbara Slate is back! Sign up for a 4-day workshop at the library and create your very own graphic novel. Maybe your interest is a Super Hero, your own life story, or you-know-it’s-in there-somewhere-dying to get out. Don’t worry if you think you can’t draw. Barbara will teach you how to develop characters, plot stories and offer tips on the creative process. “Bring your work!” she says, “And if you don’t have any, let’s get started!”

Barbara Slate is a cartoonist who has written, drawn and created over 300 stories—for Marvel, DC Comics, and Archie Comics. She is featured in the book, A Century of Women Cartoonists. Ages 12 & up, Adults included! Call the library to register 518-392-3666
