Authors & Artists presents Peter Biskind: Saturday, March 23rd at 3:30pm

Renowned film critic Peter Biskind will talk about his latest book, “The Sky is Falling: How Vampires, Zombies, Androids, and Superheroes Made America Great For Extremism, at the Chatham Public Library on Saturday, March 23 at 3:30 pm. Biskind is well known in Columbia County for programming films shown at the Crandall Theater and serving as the Executive Director of the annual FilmColumbia Festival.
Biskind is a cultural critic, film historian and former editor-in-chief of American Film magazine and executive editor of Premiere. His articles have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Paris Match. He is a contributing editor to Vanity Fair and a staff writer for Esquire magazine. Sponsored by the Friends of the Chatham Public Library, Biskind’s talk is a continuation of the group’s Authors and Artists series.  It is free of charge and open to the public. A question and answer session, a reception, and a book signing will follow the talk.
