Reading and Discussion Series on James Baldwin: Monday, November 19th at 6:30pm

With a generous grant through Humanities NY, scholar Karen Schoemer leads a reading/discussion series on author, poet and essayist James Baldwin. The group convenes to delve into the mind of this most American and original of great 20th century thinkers. As relevant today as he was then, Baldwin’s work concerned how the history we share shapes the world we live in now. This is the third of five monthly meetings. All materials are provided for loan, registration is necessary.
